Job opportunity for a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER 

High-tech environment & complex challenges 

 

Our Mechanical Design Engineers work in a dynamic, international, high-tech environment. 

Your tasks in this position are: 

  • Design mechanical systems and components for ANL’s next generation of semiconductor production tools; 
  • Manage projects on time, within budget and to specification; 
  • You will pro-actively drive ANL’s mechanical systems project(s) to delivery. 

  

As a Mechanical Design Engineer 

You are experienced with highly developed interpersonal skills. You will implement mechanical design related projects from initial concept to test and integration into our production tools. With broad experience, both in the mechanical and thermodynamics domain, and a structured view of important details. You are a team player with a proven “can do” mentality. 

 

We expect you to have: 

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 
  • Proven industrial design skills; 
  • Organized and methodical work processes; 
  • Demonstrated skills & experience with FE modelling, 3D-CAD, traditional and additive manufacturing at macro & micro scale; 
  • You are a pro-active, analytical and a communicative person; 
  • Excellent oral and written command of English.
